Golden pothos is the plant that made a lot of people believe they could keep plants alive. It handles low light, uneven watering, and rooms that get forgotten about, and it keeps putting out new leaves anyway. Generous is the right word for it.

On a moss ball it gets treated like it’s worth looking at. The vines spill and turn instead of hanging in a straight line, and the ball gives the eye somewhere to land.

The yellow marbling is unrepeatable. No two leaves take it the same way.

Care

• Light: bright indirect light. Direct sun bleaches the variegation; deep shade turns it plain green. The yellow needs light to hold.
• Water: soak 2 to 3 minutes, drain fully, then let the ball lose some weight before the next soak. Roughly every 7 to 10 days indoors. Pothos resents staying saturated — a ball that never dries invites root rot.
• Temperature: normal indoor range, above 55F / 13C.
• Yellow leaves at the base are usually overwatering. Brown crispy edges are usually underwatering or dry air.
• Tolerant of low light, but the variegation fades there. Trade it knowingly.
• Vines can be trimmed anywhere along the stem to keep the shape you want. Cuttings root in water.
• Toxic to cats and dogs if chewed.

Every ball is formed and wrapped by hand, so the jute pattern and the shape of the sphere are unique to your piece. The plant varies too, in size, form, and color. Yours will not look exactly like the photo, and we think that is the best part.
